Multifamily: Multifamily Properties can be
defined as multi-unit residential building (s) intended for occupancy by
individual dwellers. The improvements must adjoin and provide for more than
four residential dwellings.
Apartment Buildings: A Multi-unit
residential building. A Building containing independent dwelling units,
possessing independent dwelling units, possessing complete living facilities
with shared common amenities. IE: Common main entrance, stairs, elevators.
Residential Condominium Projects: A condominium is a type of joint
ownership, wherein a unit owner possesses rights to specific layers of air
space and a percentage ownership in the improvements and common elements.
Commercial: Real property acquired for investment purposes, except for
apartment houses, housing projects and other dwelling units. Is also defined
as improved real estate held by its owner for the production of income
through leases for commercial or business usage.
Multi-Tenant: A commercial property divided into multiple rental units
and leased to a variety of tenants.
Mortgage Banker: A service professional with two sets of
clients, real estate owner (developer/borrower) and lender. For the
owner mortgage bankers identify and negotiate term debt financing; for the
lender they produce new business.
Office Buildings: A building utilized to conduct a business or profession.
- Class A - Modern High-Rise building.
- Class B - Mid-Rise Building.
- Class C - Typically a single story building.
Shopping Center: Loosely defined as a group of
retail stores managed as a single unit.
Regional: A commercial facility which offers a full range of shopping
typically sponsored with two to four major department stores as anchor
tenants.
Community: A medium sized shopping facility, typically featuring
convenience goods and professional services.
Discount: A medium sized shopping facility featuring medium priced
goods with and principal tenants which are regional discount department
outlets.
Neighborhood: The smallest type of shopping facility typically
catering to the daily needs products and services, typically with one
principal tenant as a Super Market.
Single Purpose: A commercial property developed for a special purpose
or specific use.

Industrial: Land or improved land adaptable
for industrial use. A combination of land, improvements and occasional
machinery, which collectively functions as an integrated unit. Facilitates
commonly functions for assembling, processing, processing, manufacturing or
rendering of services.

Warehouse: Warehouse properties are categorized
as industrial.
Regional: A facility possessing a large square footage. These
facilities typically require special equipment to operate.
Area: This is a medium size warehouse. They are typically city-wide or
statewide distribution centers.
Neighborhood: This is the smallest variety of warehouse facility.
Neighborhood warehouses are typically city-wide facilities.
Single-Tenant: A commercial property occupied by a single third-party
tenant or by the owner for business use.
Special Use: A commercial property developed for one specific business
purpose.
Bowling Center: A recreational complex offering the games of ten pin
bowling to the public.
Hotels and Motels: Facilities designed for the temporary residence.
Mobile Home Parks: Residential facility designed as a relatively
permanent place of residence providing space to be rented for the
accommodation of mobile homes.
Multi-Use: A commercial property consisting of a combination of
construction types, which enhances the use and the enjoyment of the tenants.
Apartment / Retail: Typically the rental shopping facilities are
located on the lower levels, and apartment are located on the upper levels.
